Founded in 1984 in Hamburg, JOI Design is one of Germany’s leading interior design studios, with projects spanning Europe and beyond. Key works include Reichshof Hamburg – Curio Collection by Hilton, Fraser Suites Hamburg, Skysuiten Berlin, Moxy Hotels, Premier Inn Frankfurt, and Hyatt Place. The studio has been recognized as Interior Design Company of the Year (Luxury Travel Guide) and has received accolades including Silver at the London Design Awards, International Hotel Property Awards, as well as nominations and awards from the German Design Award and BDIA.

Founded by Hadi Teherani, a German-Iranian architect based in Hamburg, the firm is internationally recognized for its holistic approach to urban design and iconic architecture. Notable works include Deutschlandhaus Hamburg (offices, residences, and retail with a central atrium), the Kranhäuser in Cologne, and numerous projects across Europe and the Middle East. The firm has received multiple international design and architecture awards throughout Teherani’s multi-decade career, including LEAF Awards, FIABCI, and MIPIM recognitions.

SAAVU is a Hamburg based design studio founded in 2021 by interior architects Carmen Wehage and Paula Gäbel. SAAVU combines expertise in interior architecture, architecture, and design to develop individualized spatial concepts with a Scandinavian inspired aesthetic rooted in minimalism, material quality, and atmosphere. The partners bring international experience from professional stays in cities such as Helsinki, Amsterdam, and Tokyo, and are members of the Hamburgische Architektenkammer, designing projects primarily in Hamburg and the surrounding region while also taking on commissions further afield.

Founded in 1999 by Susanne Brandherm and Sabine Krumrey, the studio has offices in Cologne and Hamburg and over 20 years of experience delivering concept-driven, sustainable interior projects. Some of their major projects include 4flow Headquarters Berlin, HAVENS LIVING Berlin, REWE Trakt X, Coroplast IT Building, IPG Mediabrands, BASF Hauptstadtbüro, as well as various residential and commercial projects. Their awards include multiple wins and nominations for the German Design Award (2024–2026), Best Workspaces, iF Design Award, Healing Architecture Award, and Best of Interior.
